Effectual comes from the root word Energeia / energeo … working, operation, strong, powerful!
Its God’s will, for us, His children to be effectual.
Revelation 5:10 “And hast made us unto our God, both Kings and Priests and we shall reign on the earth.
LETS BE EFFECTUAL…
In the working of HIS POWER!
Ephesians 3: 7 - Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
In preaching the gospel:
Philemon 1:6 - That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
in prayer:
James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

One of the most lasting positive imprints of my time at a church where I first really committed my life to Christ was a sentence repeated often by the Senior Pastor “Any time you have a question about life, about anything … What does the word say?”
