Christianity BEGINS at Salvation. It opens the door. Where to from there?
One of the most transformative experiences in my life was encountering a church where the testimony of the people was full fo faith. I spent over a decade in a church with my family where we constantly heard testimonies that focused on the brokenness those people had left to become Christians. Often, you couldn’t help but feel like they missed that old sinful life. Then, we left there and went to a church where people’s testimony barely mentioned the life they’d left behind. Instead, it shared all the ways they had been transformed. Truly inspirational. Every story brought faith to the atmosphere. God was glorified and the truth was present. This is the kind of church we’re building here at Megamorphic. A church where we get saved and then ADD to it.

Self Control & Perseverance - Shozza
- Now, Shozza did a great job last week and if you want to hear what it was all about, you can go back and listen to the stream. However, I want to address this topic in accordance with today’s topic. Why does self-control come after knowledge?
With the example of Adam and Eve, it’s once you know of a thing that it can tempt you. No one gets addicted to drugs they have no knowledge of. People don’t get addicted to porn without viewing it. So, knowledge comes, then the need to control what we do with what we know

Moral Goodness. We live in a society that teaches postmodernism. What is that?
"Common targets of postmodern criticism include universalist ideas of objective reality, morality, truth, human nature, reason, science, language, and social progress."
What’s incredible to observe is that in a society where people in power have rejected faith, virtue and knowledge itself, those people have replaced it with their own ruined form of those things. Humans can’t live without it, but when we reject the original source, God, we get what we see in society.

How do we add Virtue to Faith?
Jesus Christ is our Righteousness. It’s one thing to believe in Jesus, it’s another to trust HIS moral judgments, live by them and teach them to others.
Every single human is a hypocrite. Every single human has prejudice. There is a LIE going around that racism is taught. They’re wrong. Racism and other forms of prejudice occur in EVERYONE because we all have a SIN nature. Bigotry and Hate are a result of that. The ONLY way to overcome it is through the blood of Jesus. To die to our old pre-judging, self-righteous, hedonistic self and to live in the resurrection power of Jesus Christ.
Galatians 5:22-25
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

There will be a decree to rebuild Jerusalem. Then 69 weeks and thus appears the anointed one.
