Who’s looking to get doubled this season?

Wonder: Dad really crushed the wonderment of God. Today, I’m continuing this into the WORD. Because the WORD has SO MUCH wonder about it!

Worship: Esther touched on the Holiness of God, and this is SO key. See, so many people are focused on being good, being right, being Woke. We’re called to be HOLY.

THE WORD

66 Books by more than 40 different Authors over thousands of years. An integrated message system of supernatural design from outside our time domain. Its purpose is paramount. It exists because God LOVES you. It is His love letter to all humanity.

John 1:1-3 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

LOGOS & RHEMA

Two concepts expressed in the Word, Logos and Rhema. The Word, Which is what Jesus IS in the flesh, is the Logos. It’s the full counsel of the WORD of God. The Rhema is when the Spirit speaks through a specific part of the Word to you. A helpful way to think about it is the Logos as the well of water, and the Rhema as the bucket of water you pull up to drink from.

Philosophically, the logos is the Rationality & the evidence of an argument. It is the whole that is greater than the sum of it’s parts.

THE WORD IS QUICK AND ACTIVE.
Hebrews 4:12-13 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

MEGAMORPHIC
2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

THE WASHING OF THE WATER OF THE WORD
Ephesians 5:26to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word,

NOT BY BREAD ALONE
Matthew 4:4 But He answered and said, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.’”

Note: SATAN WILL TRY AND USE A WARPED FORM OF RHEMA. It MUST be within the full counsel of the WORD to be of God.

Textual Criticism?

Why do people attack Luke’s authorship? I dug really hard into this and it’s almost funny enough to be a joke. Luke, the gentile physician as described in Colossians 4:14, has the supposed issue of being mentioned in Colossians. Apparently, Colossians is a forgery because Paul used 34 words he’d never used in one of his previous letters and that the Jewish & Gentile relations weren’t described as hostile enough to be written by Paul. This is almost Monty Python witch hunt level reasoning.
